REACT partner Parà will unveil the prototype at the renowned Italian furnishing textile fair in Cernobbio (Como) in September.

The prototype – a chair featuring recycled textile obtained from acrylic textile waste – will be on display at the Parà booth for the entire duration of the fair, together with some information on the project and its status.

The textile, which characteristics are remarkably close to the original raw material, represents a tangible proof of the successful process envisioned, experimented and fine-tuned by REACT’s consortium, which next priority is to carry on creating synergies and work on exploitation, to ensure the sustainability and the application of such results in the context of future European circular economy.

Proposte Fair will take place from 7 September to 9 September 2021, gathering a total of 61 international exhibitors in the textile industry (textile editors, upholstered furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, converters, major retail chains and contract operators), with an expected turnout of about over 2,000 visitors.
